On 25 September 2020, Adelaide Hills Division of General Practice Inc. provided the Essential Services Commission with the relevant documentation from Consumer and Business Services’, confirming its change of name from Adelaide Hills Division of General Practice Incorporated to Summit Health Incorporated.

The electricity generation licence, issued on 12 June 2019, has been varied to reflect this change of name.

On 12 June 2019, the Commission issued an electricity generation licence to Adelaide Hills Division of General Practice Incorporated for the operation of a 150 kilowatt rooftop solar PV generating plant, located at Mount Barker.

The Commission undertook a round of public consultation in relation to the application and received no submissions from stakeholders.

The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
