  • Final Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme code - The Commission has made a Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme Code (REPS Code), to apply on and from on 1 January 2021, with the commencement of the new Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme.
  • New REPS commences 1 January 2021 - The Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) is a South Australian government initiative that supports households and businesses to reduce their energy costs while also maximising the benefits to our power system to deliver a smarter, more affordable, reliable and sustainable energy future for all South Australians. Starting 1 January 2021, the new REPS will support South Australia’s transition to a modern, flexible energy system and improve energy productivity for businesses and households, with a focus on low-income households.

  • Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme: annual reporting requirements - The Commission has published REPS Bulletin 14 – Annual reporting requirements and reporting template, detailing annual reporting requirements for obliged REPS retailers.
  • Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme: Reporting requirements - consultation paper - The Commission is publicly consulting on the Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) reporting requirements that will apply to energy retailers. Submissions are invited on this consultation by Friday, 16 July 2021.
  • Draft Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) Code - The Commission has published a draft Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme Code (REPS Code) for consultation with stakeholders. Submission are invited on the draft REPS Code by Friday, 11 December 2020.
  • Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) Code review 2021 - The Commission is consulting on a review of the Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) Code to facilitate improved outcomes under, and administration of REPS within, the Government’s policy framework. The REPS Code supports the effective administration of the REPS, which commenced on 1 January 2021.
