The Commission received an application from Vibe Energy Pty Ltd for a variation to its electricity generation licence, to remove from the annexure a diesel (or bio-diesel) generator within the Tatiara Meat Company, Meatworks Road, Bordertown - maximum capacity of approximately 480kW.

On 18 October 2023, the Commission varied Vibe Energy Pty Ltd’s electricity generation licence, removing the operation of:
- Diesel (or Bio-diesel) generator within the Tatiara Meat Company, Meatworks Road, Bordertown - maximum capacity of approximately 480kW.
The Commission undertook a round of public consultation in relation to the application and received no submissions from stakeholders.
The Commission assessed the variations against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the variations.

- Diesel generator with a maximum capacity of approximately 505kW located within Blue Lake Milling Pty Ltd, Bordertown.
The Commission undertook a round of public consultation in relation to the application and received no submissions from stakeholders.
The Commission assessed Vibe Energy Pty Ltd application for a variation to the electricity generation licence against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
