Approval granted for electricity generation licence variation – Vibe Energy Pty Ltd

On 18 October 2023, the Commission varied the electricity generation licence of Vibe Energy Pty Ltd to remove the operation of a Diesel (or Bio-diesel) generator within the Tatiara Meat Company, Meatworks Road, Bordertown - maximum capacity of approximately 480kW.

The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
