Gas cooker

With the Government passing regulations to give effect to the National Energy Customer Framework (NECF), the economic regulation of the small customer gas market has now transferred to the Australian Energy Regulator as of 1 February 2013.

Additionally, the South Australian Government deregulated electricity and gas retail prices on 1 February 2013 and as a result the Commission no longer has responsibilities in the setting of gas or electricity standing contract prices or electricity reselling prices.

Economic regulation of South Australia's gas distribution networks transferred to the Australian Energy Regulator from 1 July 2008.
