Overview

To implement the outcomes of the Commission’s Inquiry into regulatory arrangements for small-scale water, sewerage and energy services – Final Report (SSNI Final Report), a minor amendment was required to reporting requirements contained in the Reticulated LPG Industry Code (Code).

The amendment removes requirements for LPG licensees to report annually on specific criteria contained in the Code. Instead, the Code now requires licensees to provide an annual report in accordance with applicable regulatory instruments. For reticulated LPG licensees, the relevant regulatory instrument is the Regulatory Reporting Requirements for Small-scale Networks – Small-scale Networks Guideline No. 5 (Small-scale Networks Guideline No. 5).

The Small-scale Networks Guideline No. 5 was published on 24 March 2022.

The ‘Reasons for amending the Reticulated LPG Industry Code ’ factsheet explains why the Commission amended the Reticulated LPG Industry Code and what the amendment means for relevant LPG licensees.
