Overview

The Commission has received an application from AGL Energy Services Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence. The applicant is seeking to a operate four Photovoltaic (PV) generation sites at:

  • Kilburn (two sites, each with a maximum output of 200kVA)
  • Angaston (one site with a maximum output of 1 MVA), and
  • Nuriootpa (one site with a maximum output of 200kVA).

On 3 September 2019, the Commission accepted the submission from AGL Energy Services Pty Ltd that it relies on the statutory exemption in accordance with the Electricity (General) Regulations 2012, and has carried out its request to withdraw its electricity generation licence application.
