Electricity generation licence application – Blyth Battery Pty Ltd

The Commission has received an application from Blyth Battery Pty Ltd (ACN 663 615 263) as Trustee for the Blyth Battery Trust for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996. The applicant is seeking to operate a 238.5MW Battery Energy Storage System, located approximately 7km from the township of Blyth. 

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 3 May 2024. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
