Regulatory information sessions - minor and intermediate retailers

Overview
The Commission will be holding information sessions for all minor and
intermediate water retailers over the coming months. These sessions are intended
to assist these retailers in understanding their annual regulatory reporting
requirements.
In addition, the Commission will also discuss its draft decision which
proposes amendments to the customer charter and contract provisions of the Water
Retail Code for minor and intermediate retailers (released on 2 May
2014).

The Commission wishes to thank all minor and intermediate retailers who
attended the Commission’s regulatory information sessions. We hope the sessions
were informative and assisted Retailers' understanding of annual reporting
requirements and the regulatory framework.
Reporting
The Commission has released templates, which can be used to complete the
required reports. We encourage retailers to review the information and templates
on the reporting
- minor and intermediate retailers page, to assist in completing the
reports, to be submitted to the Commission as follows:
- Price monitoring report - due 31 August 2014
- Financial and operational performance report - due 30 November 2014
- Annual compliance report - due 30 November 2014
Water Retail Code draft decision
On 2 May 2014, the Commission released its draft decision on proposed
amendments to the Water Retail Code for minor and intermediate retailers, in the
areas of customer contracts and customer charters. The Commission welcomes
submissions on the proposed amendments to the Code and on the draft model
standard contracts and customer charters by 14 August 2014.
