Transfer of electricity generation licence – Iberdrola Energy Markets Pty Ltd

The Commission has received an application from Iberdrola Australia Energy Markets Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence transfer in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996. The applicant is seeking to take over the operations of four 34.22MVA GE TM2500 Gas Turbine Generators currently licensed under the related entity Iberdrola Australia SAGT Pty Ltd and located at Lonsdale. The applicant is also seeking to change the location of the generators from Lonsdale to Bolivar. 

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 20 June 2022. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
