The Commission has received an application from AGL Barker Inlet Pty Limited for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act). The applicant is seeking to operate a generating plant with the maximum output capacity of 216 MW, located on Torrens Island.

The application submitted by AGL Barker Inlet Pty Limited is subject to a public consultation period closing on 16 November 2018.  Any persons wishing to provide a submission to the Commission on the variation are asked to provide it by the close of business on this date.
