The Commission has received an application for the transfer of an electricity distribution, generation and retail licence held by Cowell Electric Supply Pty Ltd to A.C.N. 626 950 829 Pty Ltd. The application form has been submitted in accordance with section 28 of the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act).

Cowell Electric Supply Pty Ltd current operates generation plants and distribution networks, as well as retails electricity, in various locations in regional and remote areas of South Australia. A.C.N. 626 950 829 Pty Ltd is seeking to take over all of Cowell Electric Supply Pty Ltd’s licensed activities. 

The application submitted by A.C.N. 626 950 829 Pty Ltd is subject to a public consultation period closing on 27 August 2018.
