Approval granted for variation to electricity generation licence application – Y.E.S. Energy (SA) - Archived

The Commission varied the electricity generation licence held by Y.E.S. Energy (SA) Pty Ltd to authorise the operation of two additional solar generating plant:

  • total site generation capacity of 2.04MVA with a maximum export level of 1.88MW located at Lot 200 Branch Hill Road, Bowmans, and
  • total site generation capacity of 4.4MVA, with a maximum export level of 4.4MW and 2.05MVAr reactive support located at 16 David Street, Renmark.

The Commission assessed Y.E.S. Energy (SA) Pty Ltd’s application for a variation to its electricity generation licence against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
