The Commission has received an application from Yadlamalka Energy Trust for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996. The applicant is seeking to operate a 4.6 megavolt amperes generating plant consisting of a solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage system located at Barndioota.

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 1 October 2021. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
