Approval granted for electricity generation licence application – Astronergy Solar Australia Pty Ltd - Archived

On 19 December 2019, the Commission issued an electricity generation licence to Astronergy Solar Australia Pty Ltd to operate the following:
• a 1.65 MW solar generating plant located at Bungama
• a 4.95 MW solar generating plant located at Bungama, and
• a 4.95 MW solar generating plant located at Kadina.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
