Stakeholder engagement survey 2018

The Commission is pleased to present summary results of its recent stakeholder engagement survey.

  • 93 percent of stakeholders agree that the Commission is effectively implementing its legislative responsibilities.
  •  9 in 10 stakeholders agree that the Commission is honest and acts respectfully towards stakeholders.
  •  Overall 83 percent rating for communication as ‘good’ or ‘excellent’.

We thank stakeholders for their valuable feedback. We are committed to continuing these high standards and improving on all aspects of communication and engagement with our stakeholders. This includes increased engagement with the water sector and local government and seeking opportunities for engagement with regional and rural stakeholders through 2019.

The Commission engaged a market research firm to undertake an independent stakeholder engagement survey in October 2018.  

The survey was carried out in compliance with AS ISO 20252:2012, meeting the requirements of the privacy act Code 2014 under Australian Privacy Principles.
