Charter of consultation and regulatory practice – review

The Commission is reviewing its Charter of Consultation and Regulatory Practice (Charter) to ensure that it reflects the Commission’s current approach to regulation and consultation.
The review has simplified the Charter, while ensuring it reflects the current approach of:
• promoting better regulation principles in our regulatory practice
• taking a principles-based approach to stakeholder engagement, and
• promoting fit-for-purpose engagement.
Stakeholders are invited to provide written submissions on the draft Charter by 5 July 2019.
