As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, I would like to provide to you an update on our current position and the precautionary measures that we have put in place, effective today, 16 March 2020.

Critically, we will continue to be operational - while ensuring we are taking an informed approach and following advice of Australian authorities. However, as the health and wellbeing of our staff and our stakeholders is a priority, we are putting in place some changes to business practice. In particular:

  • As we have a robust IT remote access infrastructure in place, we have enabled all of our staff to work remotely, so they will remain contactable by usual means even though they may not be in the office.
  • While we will continue to meet with stakeholders through video conference and by phone, we will limit face-to-face meetings and events until further notice.

This approach aims to take into account the health and wellbeing impacts of COVID-19 itself, as well as any potential secondary consequences.

If you have any questions about your interactions with the Commission during this time, please feel free to contact us.
