Minimum specifications

REES electricity

The Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy has the function of maintaining, reviewing and amending the list of eligible Energy Efficiency Activities (including energy savings values and minimum specifications) and minimum requirements for energy audits for the purposes of the Retailer Energy Efficiency Scheme (REES).

The Minister has approved a REES Ministerial Protocol that guides the Minister in determining the range of approved energy efficiency activities and sets out reporting requirements for the Commission in its role as scheme administrator.

The individual minimum specifications for approved energy efficiency activities and energy audits can be found on the REES Energy Efficiency Activities and REES Home Energy Audits pages.
