Final

The Commission has released its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2024.

The DAIP has been prepared in accordance with, and in support of, the requirements of the Disability Inclusion Act 2018, the Department of Human Services Inclusive SA: State Disability Inclusion Plan 2019 – 2023, the National Disability Strategy and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The DAIP seeks to confirm the Commission’s commitment to promoting access, diversity and inclusion for all, both through its regulatory processes and through its employment opportunities.

The Commission undertook one round of public consultation prior to finalising the report. Three submissions were received and considered - the Commission is grateful for those submissions and the matters raised.

The DAIP is in effect now, until October 2024.
