The Commission has varied the electricity generation licence held by Port Pirie Solar Pty Ltd (ACN 624 425 930), which authorises the operation of a 4.9MW solar form located at Murray Bridge, to reflect the licensee’s recent change of name to Mobilong Solar Farm Pty Ltd (ACN 624 425 930).

On 12 June 2019, the Commission issued an electricity generation licence to Port Pirie Solar Pty Ltd for the operation of a 4.9 megawatt solar generating plant, located at Murray Bridge.
The Commission undertook a round of public consultation in relation to the application and received no submissions from stakeholders.
The Commission assessed Port Pirie Solar Pty Ltd’s application for an electricity generation licence against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
