Electricity generation licence application - Bungama Project (Solar) Operations Pty Ltd

The Commission has received an application from Bungama Project (Solar) Operations Pty Ltd (ACN 621 450 762) as trustee for Bungama Project (Solar) Operations Trust (ABN 92 133 409 781) for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996. The applicant is seeking to operate a 150MW Battery Energy Storage System located at the corner of Bungama North Road and Locks Road.

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 16 October 2023. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
