Electricity generation licence applications - Willogoleche Power and SSE Australia Whyalla Solar

The Commission has received two applications for electricity generation licences in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act).
Willogoleche Power Pty Ltd is seeking to a operate 32 wind turbines up to a total maximum capacity of 123 megawatts (MW). The generation plant will be located 6 km west of Hallett in the mid-north of South Australia.
SSE Australia Whyalla Solar Pty Ltd is seeking to a operate a solar array with a total maximum capacity of 4.9MW. The generation plant will be located in the township of Whyalla.
These applications are subject to a public consultation period closing on 24 November 2017. Interested parties wishing to provide a submission to the Commission on the application are asked to provide it by the close of business on this date.
