Approval granted for electricity generation licence application - The Barossa Council - Archived

The Commission issued an electricity generation licence to The Barossa Council for the operation of a 197.5 kilowatt (kW) (generating capacity) rooftop solar generating plant with a 65kW (maximum export level), located at The Barossa Aquatic and Fitness Centre, 75 Magnolia Road, Tanunda.

The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
