Variation to electricity generation licence application – South Australian Water Corporation (SA Water) - Archived

The Commission has received an application from South Australian Water Corporation for an electricity generation licence variation in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act). The applicant is seeking to operate a 15.39 megawatt (MW) ground mounted solar generating plant and mini hydro generator with a maximum export level of 11.2 MW, located at Adelaide Desalination Plant – Stage 2.
The application for the variation sought to authorise an additional generating plant located at the Murray Bridge Onkaparinga Pump Station 2, which has been published, and will be considered, separately.
The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 18 June 2021. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
