Electricity generation licence application – Infigen Energy Markets Pty Limited - Archived

The Commission has received an application from Infigen Energy Markets Pty Limited for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996. The applicant is seeking to operate a solar and wind generating plant, with a total nameplate rating  generating capacity of 362.4 megawatts (MW) (consisting of 150MW for solar generation and 212.4MW for wind generation),  with an overall maximum output capacity of 270MW. The generating plant will be located at the Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park facility, eight kilometres south of Port Augusta at Lot 48 Road, Yongala.

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 18 June 2021. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
