Reconciliation at the Commission

The Commission’s Reconciliation Action Plan was formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia in November 2021, cementing our commitment to reconciliation, our RAP includes meaningful actions designed to support our organisation in actively participating in the reconciliation movement.

Reconciliation to us is about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples moving together on a shared path. One which acknowledges the reasons why there are differences and divisions in the first place and one which helps us move past that and towards building relations that work towards putting an end to racism and discrimination. By building and strengthening these relations, we are working to grow equity, unity and equality. 

We are proud to be part of the reconciliation movement within Australia and look forward to continuing our reconciliation journey and building strong relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
