       • Pursuant to section 80(3) of the Electricity Act 1996, the Commission approved the variation to the exemption issued on 31 December 2002 (which provides that specified licences need not contain the mandatory licence conditions set out in sections 21, 22, 23 and 24 of the Electricity Act) to include the Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy.

       • Expired on the 4/6/96. This was the same day that the Power Purchase Agreement between ETSA Corporation and Osborne Cogeneration.

      • Exemption varied on 16/12/08.
      • Exemption granted by the Commission pursuant to s80 of the Electricity Act 1996, (with approval of the Minister for Energy), 24/11/07.
      • Exempt from the provisions of Part 3 of the Act in favour of the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation for the generation and retailing of electricity to each of the specified locations.

   2. Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation

      Exemption Expired 30/6/10

      Exemption Issued 7/8/00

      • Expires on the earlier of 30/06/10 or the date (if any) upon which a person is issued with a licence by the Commission to generate and/or retail electricity in each of the relevant locations.

      • Exempt from the provisions of Part 3 of the Electricity Act 1996 in respect of the persons undertaking electricity generation and distribution operations in certain Aboriginal communities.

      • Following the transfer, pursuant to Part 3 of the Electricity Act 1996, of generation and retail licences to the Minister for Mineral Resources and Energy on 14 February 2012 this exemption no longer applies to the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation.

   4. SF Energy Services Pty Limited

      SF Energy was deregistered in July 2008.
