Overview
The Commission has received an application from Robusto Investments Pty
Ltd for a water retail licence for the sale and supply of potable water
to residential and non-residential customers within Mt Compass. This
application includes the water retail service currently being provided
by Hillrise Investments Pty Ltd.

On 17 May 2016, Robusto Investments Pty Ltd applied to the Commission for a water retail licence in accordance with the Water Industry Act 2012 (Act). Robusto Investments Pty Ltd wishes to provide a potable water service to residential and non-residential customers within Mt Compass. The application included the water retail service currently being provided by Hillrise Investments Pty Ltd.
The Commission undertook a round of public consultation in relation to the application and received one submission from a stakeholder.
The Commission has assessed the application against the relevant provisions of the Water Industry Act 2012 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 (as they apply to the Commission's role as an economic regulator of the South Australian water and sewerage service industries) and determined that all relevant criteria had been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
The water retail licence was transferred to Robusto Investments on 10 August 2016. A copy of the application, submission and licence can be accessed below.
