Water retail licence variation - District Council of Mallala - Archived

The Commission has received an application from the District Council of Mallala
for a variation to its water industry (licence) retail licence in accordance
with the Water Industry Act 2012 (Act).
Currently, the licence
held by the District Council of Mallala authorises the provision of sewerage
services, specifically a Community Waste Management System, at Middle Beach. The
District Council of Mallala has applied to add to its licence the provision of
sewerage services to residential customers in the township of Mallala and the
sale and supply of non-potable water for irrigation purposes.
The
application submitted by the District Council of Mallala is subject to a public
consultation period which ends on 4 March 2016. Any persons wishing to provide a
submission to the Commission on the application are asked to provide it by the
close of business on this date.
