The Commission has received an application from Mannum Stage 2 Subco Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence to operate a solar generation plant, with an export capacity of 29.99 MW, located approximately 3km west of Mannum in South Australia.

On 12 July 2023, the Commission approved an electricity generation licence (licence) for Mannum Stage 2 SubCo Pty Ltd, authorising the operation of a 29.99MW solar generating plant located at the corner of Mannum Road and Patricks Road, Mannum.
The Commission undertook a round of public consultation in relation to the application and received no submissions from stakeholders.
The Commission assessed the application for a licence made by Mannum Stage 2 SubCo Pty Ltd against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
