Final

On 15 December 2021, the Commission varied South Australia Water Corporation (SA Water) electricity generation licence, authorising the operation of a ground mounted solar generating plant with a 13.75 megawatt (MW) generating capacity with a 10.3MW maximum export level, located at the Murray Bridge Onkaparinga No. 2 Pumping Station.

The Commission undertook a round of public consultation in relation to the application and received one submission from stakeholders.

The Commission assessed SA Water’s application for an electricity generation licence against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
