Approval of the District Council of Peterborough’s application for a water retail licence
21 Jun 2018
On 20 June 2018, the Commission granted a water retail licence to the District Council of Peterborough to provide sewerage services to 1,075 residential and non-residential customers in the township of Peterborough.
The Commission assessed the application against the relevant provisions of the Water Industry Act 2012 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 (as they apply to the Commission’s role as an economic regulator of the South Australian water service industries) and determined that all relevant criteria had been satisfied.
