Review of the South Australian Rail Access Regime 2020 - Archived

The Commission has released the issues paper for the review of the South Australian intrastate rail access regime, and invites responses and information from stakeholders, which the Commission will consider for the draft report.
The issues paper sets out the purpose of the access regime, explains why the regime is being reviewed and outlines background information including legislative background, economic context and the current market environment. The issues paper also sets out the proposed framework for assessing the effectiveness of the regime, and poses questions for stakeholders.
The Commission invites written submissions in response to the issues paper by 18 March 2020.
The Commission plans to release a draft report in May 2020.
