The Commission is reviewing the effectiveness of the off-grid energy consumer protection framework, which applies to around 11,000 customers located in regional and remote areas of the State. This review is also considering whether any changes are required to the Prepayment Meter System Code, and includes the Commission’s response to submissions received on the Prepayment Meter System Code Issues Paper published in March.  

The Commission welcomes feedback on the issues raised in this Consultation Paper by Friday, 25 March 2022.
