Approval granted to application for variation to electricity generation licence – South Australian Water Corporation - Archived

The Commission varied South Australian Water Corporation’s electricity generation licence, authorising the operation of a generating plant with a nameplate capacity of 7.5MW and total export capacity of 6.22MW at the Morgan Whyalla Pumping Station 3 located at 79 Kading Road Geranium Plains.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
