Approval granted for electricity generation licence – Copper Coast Council - Archived

On 25 September, the Commission issued an electricity generation licence to the Copper Coast Council to operate the following:
• a 150 kilowatt solar generating plant, located at Moonta, and
• a 150 kilowatt solar generating plant, located at Wallaroo.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
