Variation to electricity generation licence – South Australian Water Corporation (SA Water) - Archived

SA Water’s current generation licence authorises the operation of generating plants at its Bolivar Waste Water Treatment Plant and Crystal Brook Depot. SA Water is seeking to vary its licence to authorise the operation of the following:

  • a 3.8 megawatt (MW) generating plant at its Waste Water Treatment Plant, Glenelg North
  • a 1.5MW generating plant at its Water Treatment Plant, Hope Valley, and
  • a 4.3MW generating plant at its Waste Water Treatment Plant, Christies Beach.

The applications submitted by SA Water are subject to a public consultation period closing on 23 November 2018. Any persons wishing to provide a submission to the Commission on the variation are asked to provide it by the close of business on this date.
