Electricity generation licence application – Whyalla Renewables Pty Ltd - Archived

The Commission has received an updated application from Whyalla Renewables Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act). The applicant is seeking to operate a 160 Megawatt solar generating plant, located at Whyalla.
Whyalla Renewables Pty Ltd’s application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 9 April 2020. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application. Please note that the Commission’s consideration of submissions is subject to the licensing criteria in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act).
