Electricity generation licence application – Vicinity Energy Services Pty Ltd - Archived

The Commission has received an application from Vicinity Energy Services Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act). The applicant is seeking to operate the following three generating plant:

  • a 1.325 megawatt (MW) solar generating plant located at Colonnades Shopping Centre
  • a 4.355 MW solar generating plant located at Elizabeth Shopping Centre, and
  • a 2.127 MW solar generating plant located at Castle Plaza Shopping Centre.

Vicinity Energy Services Pty Ltd’s application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 31 March 2020. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
