Electricity generation licence application – Beerenberg Pty Ltd - Archived

The Commission has received an application from Beerenberg Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996. The applicant is seeking to operate a solar generating plant with a total site generation capacity of 550 kilovolt-amperes (kVA) and a 546kVA diesel backup generator, with a maximum export limit of 199 kilowatt (kW), located at 2106 Mount Barker Road, Hahndorf.

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 06 July 2021. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
