Variation to Electricity generation licence application – Hornsdale Power Reserve Pty Ltd - Archived

The Commission varied Hornsdale Power Reserve Pty Ltd’s electricity generation licence, authorising an increase to the capacity of the battery operated generating plant from 100 to 150 megawatts, located at Hornsdale.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
