Surrender of electricity generation licence – J.T. Johnson & Sons Pty Ltd

On 14 July 2022, The Energy Project Pty Ltd, acting on behalf of J.T. Johnson & Sons, notified the Commission that J.T. Johnson & Sons Pty Ltd wished to surrender its electricity generation licence. In providing this notification, J.T. Johnson & Sons Pty Ltd requested to shorten the six-month notice period required in the Electricity Act 1996. The Commission considered this request, and agreed to shorten the required period of notice.

The surrender is effective from 27 July 2022.
