The Commission has received an application from Port Adelaide Energy Pty Ltd for an electricity generation licence in accordance with the Electricity Act 1996 (Electricity Act). The applicant is seeking to operate a 154 megawatt (MW) (name plate capacity) gas and diesel generating plant with a maximum export capacity of 150.4MW, located at:

  • Lot 205 Pelican Point Road, Outer Harbour
  • Lot 27 Pelican Point Road, Outer Harbour
  • Lot 151 Pelican Point Road, Outer Harbour, and
  • Lot 502 Mersey Road, North Osborne.

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 4 August 2021. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
