Approval granted for electricity generation licence application – Y.E.S Energy (SA) Pty Ltd - Archived

On 26 September 2018, the Commission approved the issue of an electricity generation licence to Y.E.S Energy for the operation of a solar generation plant with a maximum output capacity of 216 kilowatts.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 (as they apply to the Commission’s role as an economic regulator of the South Australian electricity industry) and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied.
