Approval granted for electricity generation licence application – Lincoln Gap Wind Farm Pty Ltd - Archived

On 21 November 2018, the Commission issued an electricity generation licence to Lincoln Gap Wind Farm Pty Ltd to operate 59 wind turbines with a total capacity of 212.4 MW.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that, with the inclusion of the additional technical licence conditions, all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
