Approval granted for electricity generation licence application – CSR Building Products Limited - Archived

On 21 November 2018, the Commission issued an electricity generation licence to CSR Building Products Ltd for the operation of a solar generation plant with a maximum output capacity of one megawatt, located at Golden Grove.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions of the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 (as they apply to the Commission’s role as an economic regulator of the South Australian electricity industry) and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied.
