Approval granted for electricity generation licence application – Sustainable Energy Infrastructure - Archived

On 12 December 2018, the Commission issued an electricity generation licence to Sustainable Energy Infrastructure Pty Ltd for the operation of a 4.4 MW gas fired co-generation facility located at the Coopers Brewery, Regency Park.
The Commission assessed this application against the relevant provisions within the Electricity Act 1996 and the Essential Services Commission Act 2002 and determined that all relevant criteria under those Acts have been satisfied. It has therefore approved the application.
