Electricity generation licence surrender – Y.E.S. Energy - Archived

On 9 December 2021, YES Energy Pty Ltd notified the Commission that it wished to surrender its electricity generation licence. In providing this notification, YES Energy Pty Ltd requested to shorten the six-month notice period required in the Electricity Act 1996.

The Commission considered this request and agreed to shorten the required period of notice, and the surrender is effective from 14 December 2021.
