Variation to electricity generation licence – South Australian Water Corporation (SA Water) - Archived

SA Water’s current generation licence authorises the operation of generating plant at various sites. SA Water is seeking to vary its licence to authorise the operation of the following:

  • a solar generating plant and battery storage  with a 1.378 MW nameplate capacity and a 1.10MW maximum export capacity at the Balhannah Summit Storage Water Filtration Plant
  •  a solar generating plant and battery storage with a 615kW nameplate capacity and a 530kW maximum export capacity at the Onkaparinga Hills Water Pump Station, and
  •  a solar generating plant and battery storage with a nameplate capacity of 2.085MW and a 1.125 MW maximum export capacity at the Aldinga Waste Water Treatment Plant.

The application is subject to a public consultation period closing on 25 September 2020. The Commission welcomes submissions on any matters relevant to the application.
